It is called "the best cheesecake in the world". Hehehe... I'm sure there are very many very delicious cheesecake recipes, one better than the other. Nevertheless this is one of the very delicious cheesecake recipes. I used to make a different recipes, but since I discovered this one, every single time I receive many compliments because of its creaminess, softness and great taste. With topping or without, this cheesecake will definitely impress your guests! yam!

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat.

  2. Place the ingredients for the kneading dough in a bowl (200 g flour, 75 g sugar,75 g butter, 1 egg and ½ sachet baking powder), quickly knead together and set aside. 

  3. For the filling, mix 125g butter, 170g sugar, 1 sachet vanilla sugar, 1 sachet pudding powder, the lemon zest from one lemon and the 3 eggs in a bowl. Then mix in the quark and sour cream. Whip the sweet cream until stiff and fold in.

  4. Lay out the dough in a greased 26 cm form pan, raising the sides by about 2 - 3 cm.

  5. Now pour the filling into the tin, smooth it out and bake in the hot oven for 1 hour.
    Caution: Do not remove the cake from the tin until it has cooled completely, as the consistency of the curd mixture is still too soft immediately after removing from the oven.

    Let it cool down completely before serving.
    You can eat it as it is, or if you prefer fresh fruits
