It is super juicy, very intensive lemon taste and super delicious. It is very loved by all out guests!
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, upper-lower heat.
Mix the butter with the sugar.
Gradually add the eggs until everything is well mixed and creamy.
Add the lemon zest.
Add the flour, a pinch of salt and the baking powder.
Pour this batter into a 28-30 cm baking tin.
Bake for 50-60 minutes.
During the baking time, mix the lemon juice of 3-4 lemons with 130 g icing sugar.
Do the matchstick test to make sure the cake is baked before you take it out.
When the cake is ready, leave it to cool in the tin for a few minutes and then prick it several times with a long chopstick.
Spread the lemon juice over the cake and leave it to soak in for at least 1 hour before serving.
You can keep the cake in the fridge for a few days or even freeze it and serve it if you like.
